Town Manager
The Town Manager is appointed by the Town Commission to serve as the Chief Administrative Officer of the Town.

Town Clerk
The Office of the City Clerk is the official keeper of records. It maintains an accurate record of the official actions of the Town Commission and Town Boards, such as official minutes, contracts, ordinances and resolutions pertaining to the Town.

Town Attorney
The Office of the City Attorney is the primary provider of legal services to the city and is responsible for rendering legal interpretations of state and federal laws and city codes to the City Commission, City Manager, and staff.

Police Department
The Hillsboro Beach Police Department is committed to working in partnership with the community to solve problems and resolve conflicts by providing courteous, competent and effective delivery of law enforcement services in a fair and impartial manner.

Planning & Zoning
The Planning and Zoning Department is responsible for providing professional assistance and expertise to elected officials, Town management and citizens in the areas of planning, zoning, land use management, and strategic decision making. The Department is charged with the oversight of all inquiries pertaining to the Town’s adopted land use and zoning provisions, including but not limited to, property plat and zoning information, variance requests, site plan reviews and land development regulations.

Code Compliance
Code Compliance services are provided by Calvin , Giordano & Associates. Our office is located in Hillsboro Beach Town Hall. The code compliance unit is responsible for fostering compliance with a variety of town codes, land development codes, fire and building codes, and a number of administrative regulations.

Building Department
The Building Department is to protect the health, safety and welfare of the residents of the Town of Hillsboro Beach through the enforcement of the Florida Building Commission and Broward County Board of Rules and Appeals.

Finance Department
The Town of Hillsboro Beach is committed to excellence in budgeting and financial reporting. We are partnered with Inframark Infrastructure Management Services to provide a full range of customized financial and water utility billing services. With direction from the Town Manger, the support staff manages the financial activity of the Town to provide accurate and timely financial reports. This information is utilized by Town management, elected officials and the citizens of Hillsboro Beach. Services include accounts payable/receivable, payroll, budget, purchasing, investments, debt management and financial reporting.

Human Resources
The Human Resources Department is responsible for handling a variety of functions that include recruiting, selecting, retaining, and training Town employees. Additionally, department staff oversees benefits administration, compensation and classification, payroll, employee relations, Risk Management and all human resources issues.

Water Department
The Town of Hillsboro Beach provides safe drinking for its’ Town residents, while protecting the quality of life through sound environmental practices. Our goal is to provide high quality and cost-effective services; and protect and enhance our natural resources.
